Don't take our word for it

Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Removing the background from a single image is free and unlimited, at the original resolution and without a watermark. Free batches are limited to 5 images at a time. Pro adds batches of up to 200, ZIP download with rename rules, e-commerce presets, a high-quality model and custom background images.
Is it private?
Yes. The AI model runs inside your browser, so your images are never uploaded. The only download is the model file itself. Check the Network tab in DevTools to see for yourself.
Why is the first load slow?
The first time, your browser downloads the AI model (about 44 MB for the standard model). It is cached on your device, so later visits start much faster.
Does it work offline?
After the model has been downloaded once and cached by your browser, you can process images without a connection, as long as the page itself is available (for example it is still open or cached).
What image sizes work?
JPG, PNG and WebP up to 25 MB per file on Free (100 MB on Pro). Output is always the original resolution. Images above 25 megapixels may be slow or fail on phones, and iPhones and iPads cannot process images above about 16 megapixels.
